The 2nd album of British Black Metal band OLD FOREST, ‘None More Black’, was initially recorded in 2000, but didn’t see a release until 2014. The music, a continuation of low-fi early 90’s Black Metal, was limited to a hand-printed CDr, which quickly sold out.
In 2020, the band attempted to release this digitally but it was rejected by our distributors, owing to the low-fi recording aesthetic. The band then set about re-recording the album to a higher audio standard, and it will be digitally released on 31/10/21. A CD Digipac version will also be released on this date, and this will feature both the original AND the new versions of the album with updated artwork.
Some may remember that the hard-drive containing the original masters of this were ceremonially buried in the New Forest (Hampshire) when Old Forest went on hiatus for a few years. A map was intended to be included with the 2014 release, but didn’t actually happen. This time, we WILL be providing a paper copy of this with each Digipac CD..
ALL CDs WILL BE POSTED BY 31/10/21
